The Disciplinary Committee Policy governs how Cricket PEI addresses incidents of misconduct, breaches of playing rules, or violations of the Code of Conduct. It ensures fair hearings, proportionate sanctions, and respect for all parties involved in the process.
The Disciplinary Committee acts independently and impartially, reviewing reported incidents and determining appropriate outcomes based on the evidence presented. All members are entitled to know the charges against them, present their case, and receive a reasoned decision.
Independent Committee
The Disciplinary Committee is composed of independent members with no direct involvement in the incident under review.
Fair Hearing Process
Every member is entitled to be informed of charges, present their case, call witnesses, and receive a clear written decision.
Range of Sanctions
Outcomes range from a formal warning to suspension or expulsion, proportionate to the severity of the breach and any prior history.
