Health & Safety

Our commitment to the health, safety, and well-being of every player, official, volunteer, and spectator at Cricket PEI events.

About This Policy

Cricket PEI is committed to the health, safety, and well-being of all players, officials, volunteers, and spectators. This policy outlines our responsibilities, risk management procedures, incident reporting protocols, and emergency response guidelines to ensure a safe environment for everyone involved in our sport.

All events, practices, and matches organised by Cricket PEI are subject to the standards set out in this policy. Club administrators, team captains, and coaches all have specific responsibilities as outlined in the full document.

Risk Assessment

Organisers must conduct a risk assessment before each event to identify and mitigate potential hazards at the venue.

First Aid & Emergency

A first aid kit must be present at all matches and events. Emergency procedures and contact numbers are clearly defined.

Incident Reporting

All injuries, near-misses, and safety incidents must be reported using the standard form and submitted to Cricket PEI within 48 hours.
